Great book..would recommend. My 3 1/2 & 5 1/2 year old love this book. Great pictures

I was happy with purchase and for a Polar bear lover it was a nice gift.

I bought this book for a speech I was doing in college and it came in very handy. It gave information about Global warming and some things we can do to help stop it. It is a good book and I think children will find it interesting. It talks about the polar bear's life style, what they eat, how long they live, etc. Overall it is a wonderful book and I highly recommend it.

This book is one in a series of "Face to Face" titles by the same author. Although it is not a book for primary children, my students enjoyed the photographs and the blurbs of information that I read aloud to them. Very interesting book, indeed.

Face to Face with Polar Bears, Face to Face with Grizzlies, and Little Polar Bears was purchased as a "Special Christmas Present" for my three teenage grand kids. They get an annual subscription to National Geographic KIDS. These exceeded my expectations, on filling the bill.
They talked their mom & dad into letting each of them call and thank me for the "great books!" Said a card couldn't let me know how much they are enjoying them. They middle one chose Face to Face with Polar Bears.

This is a children's book but it is not marketed as such. I was expecting to learn something. And of course it included the Global Warming fear-mongering. A real disppointment. Why do photographers think they need to become activists??
