Funky Nu-Pop,

Whether or not that is a genre or not, I don't know. But this song categorizes it. It had some awesomely funky beats that make you want to dance all night long. And even though these beats are pretty repetitive, you never get tired of them, and in fact, you just want more. And it's not just some funky electronica stuff either, with the addition of the fittingly perfect vocals, the song also takes on a little of a pop sound, but not pop per se, but rather Nu-Pop. Thus we have Funky Nu-Pop.One of Daft Punk's best songs, "Face To Face" is a great song unlike most other stuff out there, with great beats, and surprisingly good vocals. And again, it's Funky Nu-Pop. |
