I love Sarah Graves' Home Repair Mysteries but I think she departs from her proven track record in this book. She goes back to Jake's history in this story and introduces a character from the past but the story line is not very convincing. There's not enough of the down east flavor and home repair aspect of her previous books - all of which are very enjoyable. It may be time to give Jake a rest - or to spin off another character for this author. I highly recommend the earlier books in this series however.

This book was a great read! I couldn't put it down.
It was exciting and fast paced from beginning to end. I've read many books, but this one kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the book.

If you have never read any of the home repair books by Sarah Graves you should try one. The are a light mystery with helpful hints for diy'ers. I have all of them and really enjoy the books and characters.
