Virtually all of the references dont exist any longer. Almost none of the suggestions were actionable as Facebook has changed.
Also, this a very small book - almost a pamphlet. Seriously, there is room for a lot more content. I paid $9, not the $2 that others mentioned. Its worth $2

I have a small consulting business and like most folks north of 50 years of age, had just a casual interest in Facebook in order to connect with old friends. However, recognizing the need to take advantage of social media as a marketing tool for my business, I started a self-chartered exploration into Facebook, Twitter and blogging.

Sam Goldfarb's book, Facebook for Business..., provided me with a solid understanding of the potential of FB, as well as showing how-to-do a lot of the things other authors just describe. Additionally, he identifies potential problem areas you should avoid. This is a must read for businesses that want to take advantage of social media to grow their sales volumes but do not have the technical expertise in-house or who do not have the resources to hire information technology professionals.

Now, as a result of this book, we have developed an integrated online strategy and presence, the basis of which is our website, our Facebook page and Facebook community. I would highly recommend this book to anyone seeking to better understand the potential of Facebbok!

The "Think and Grow Rich" and "The Secret" of Facebook Business Marketing books. Hands Down. Sam Goldfarb is The insider TRULY and sincerely looking out for the outsider trying to figure things out in this facebook marketing game. I see all these other new facebook marketing books popping up, but how many of those authors actually worked in the actual facebook business marketing department like Sam, and truly understand the intricacies of how things work based on the constant data flowing in front of them every day? Not too long ago i actually had the pleasure to meet him online @ fb and what impressed me so much was how he was so HONEST and acurate as to exactly what my business needed at the time, and what it didn't need as far as marketing solutions based on my budget. He could've lied to me and tried to rob me of my money like any other scammer, but he didn't. he gave me some FREE information that we're now all receiving only this time he's offering us more. This is the only Facebook marketing book for me. We really need to get our facebook business marketing information from someone actually experienced and successful within the company's own marketing and advertising ranks. This is an invaluable tool. PLus, i heard from sam last time i was able to find him online at fb that as sales continue to climb he will actually be offering this business masterpiece for 2$!!! 2$ books!?? That's MARKETING GENIUS right there. I'm buying the domain names & IMMEDIATELY just to keep them warm for Sam. :)) Who wouldn't risk 2 bucks on a CLASSIC, concise, super short, life-changing book to improve their business or anything!? I am an internet marketing consultant and worked as the social media adviser for a national congressional campaign last year so I understand what Facebook pages are and how they should be used. But, I also felt that I hadn't yet found the book that would let me in on some of the more advanced tips that would be of great help to both me and to people I work with.

Well, Sam Goldfarb's book is it. Not only is it full of top notch material and plenty of hints (he really knows what he is talking about) but it is very easy for the so-called layman to understand. I happen to be a lot older - didn't get my first computer until I was in my mid 40s (and it was a double floppy disk drive to boot) and nothing drives me crazier than when a lot of so-called informational books get carried away explaining things in tech-speak acronyms.

If you are looking for a resource to take you to the next level of Facebook marketing and advertising, then I would recommend you seriously considering downloading this book. It is well worth the price.

This is a frank but not very thoughtful or thorough introduction to using Facebook to enhance your business.
There is no information about potentially useful specifics such as
1. For what customers is Facebook most effective? Age, gender, income, literacy?
2. For what types of products and services is Facebook most effective?
3. What kinds of information do users actually enter into Facebook?

If the average click-through rate is 1 in 30,000 what does that mean that it will take 1,000,000 people viewing an average ad for 300 to click through?

The complete lack of copy editing is a measure of the carelessness of the author.

This "book" could be boiled down to a mediocre 15-page introduction to the subject.

And beware the Amazon offer of a free loan of the book if you are a Prime member and an owner of a Kindle. I am both, and got charged the $8. And, of course, it is as hard to get Amazon to respond to such a complaint as it is easy with Amazon sellers.
