This review is from: Facilities Planning & Design For Financial Institutions: A Strategic Management Guide (Ring-bound)
I have just completed the third edition of this popular book for the credit union industry. It is again being published by the Credit Union Executive Society and will be available in the second quarter of 2004. It contains eight new chapters dealing with advanced branch business modeling and prototype development; strategic branch planning; strategic operations occupancy planning; branding, marketing and merchandising; selecting the most beneficial merger partner as the acquired and acquiring credit union and management team; property development for use and profit, creating effective measurement systems; technology integration in facilities; call center design; hiring the best consultants; developing the most effective construction strategy; ergonomics and high performance branch and operations environments, what is working and what is not in the industry, and much more. There are over 250 drawings, illustrations, charts, check lists and case studies. All of the previous chapters have been enhanced. This is a how-to book with step-by-step instruction on how to create strong retail branching and operations occupancy strategies and then design, construct and operate succesful facilities that can be measured in terms of member and staff satisfaction; growth in deposits, loans, target PFI status and profitability; brand equity; ROI and savings in construction and long term operations.
