To guide people with mastery requires experience, sensitivity, and the ability to ask the right questions. In Facing Pain - Embracing Love, Jim Warner accomplishes this and more. About the Author

Jim Warner is an entrepreneur and life-transition expert with insights grounded in a rare combination of experience and empathy. From 1980 through 1992, he skillfully navigated the peaks and valleys of the burgeoning software industry. First, he led his own firm from start-up through phenomenal growth. Midstage, he forged beyond downsizing to successful resurgence. Ultimately, Warner sold his company, with visions of comfortable, secure, and satisfying days ahead. But the transition was far rockier than he expected. In his midforties Jim entered a three-year period of introspection and questioning: How to rejuvenate relationships with his family and friends? How to leverage his existing and latent skills and interests in a meaningful way? How to overcome personal weaknesses that blocked his fulfillment? OnCourse International is the product of Jim's taking stock and heightened awareness. Today, he is a dedicated coach, advisor, and facilitator to senior executives, guiding them into candid, creative, and collaborative interactions for enhanced performance, at both the enterprise and whole-life levels. Format: Paperback
I really liked Jim Warner's first book, "Aspirations of Greatness," and I LOVE this one.

If life is a journey, and I believe it is, then perhaps obviously we need a map. Jim Warner provides one that is profound yet simple and easy to interpret. I recognized places I've been, places I've visited and certainly the place I want to be in more of the time: Authentic Living.

Some stops along the way are also detailed. I especially liked his chapter titled "Relationship Clarity" which includes specific, useful instructions on how to recognize and end a relationship that is not serving your deeper purpose and vision.

This little book (104 pages including helpful diagrams)is powerful. Plus, in his bibliography he has the great intelligence to recommend my book, "Living an Extraordinary Life." Living an Extraordinary Life Even if he hadn't, I'd still be buying a bunch of these for friends, clients and family members. It's that good.
