Aphasia is one you can't miss!!,

I first heard about Aphasia about a year and a half ago, and ever since that very first hearing..I've been hooked like none other. This band has such a passion for the music they make, and it really shows in the awesome quality of this album. Jeff's unique vocals are so strong and powerful in songs like Flatline and Release (This We End Tonight), but soft and soothing in songs like Push for New and Compromise. The combination of these four boys from the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California is the perfect mix of talents, commitment, and brotherhood, and that puts Aphasia on such a higher level than any other band out in the music scene today.

My friend and I saw Aphasia when they had a show at up at Berkeley. We loved their sound and we were even nerdy enough to go up to all of the band members and get their autographs because we knew that they would be big in the future. Suffice it to say that I'm glad that their album has come out so everyone can hear what an awesome band they are. My favorite songs have to be Push for New and Flatline.

Chances are you'll like the album and then go to a show and like the real thing even more. Or you can ignore this suggestion and go on with your life miserable and unhip.

I agree with many of the other reviewers -- Aphasia has nothing to say and they don't say it very well.

This was filed under dance at best buy. i have no idea why. this is uninspired crap, not a single ounce of originality. kinda like everything else that is mainstream these days. a complete waste of time. i'd rather listen to Yanni.

im usually not into hardcore music, but i was turned onto aphasia after being dragged to their show in vegas by a friend. aphasia has such great stage presence & is such a great band live. after getting kicked out of the show for fighting, i went outside and bought their CD, and was even lucky enough to meet aaron & will. not only is this a good CD for anyone who is into hardcore music, but anyone who is looking for a change in music style.

Strong Debut!,

This is just the beginning of Aphasia's rise to the top. "Fact & Fiction is a strong and energetic debut album. "House of Cards", "We All," and "Push for New," are the best tracks, along with the stuck-in-your-head-for-days single "Flatline". It's definitely an album you can play all the way through without getting bored or skipping a track. Powerful vocals and catchy choruses! This is a great buy!

I Dont Know What To Say, Really. (Get it, It's a Pun! They're Called APHASIA... haha.. look it up),

I am going to start off by saying I Went to my FIRST Rock Concert. I Dont count the No-Doubt Concert... because well... they arent rock. Blindside was playing, and I have fallen madly in love with Blindside. Trapt, was the headliner. Aphasia, was opening for Blindside who was opening for Trapt. I Saw it Harpo's in Detriot Michigan. Aphasia started off with a kick, and didnt let go. I've never moshed, or jumped or acted to music before. And I Wanted to jump with the beat, but I looked around and saw nobody else doing it. I realized that it was customary to hate the opening act, no matter how good they are. So I accepted this and sat down in my seat.
Aphasia, rocked hardcore. I love the Concert so much, I rushed to buy the CD at the Concert immediatly after they ended the show. I popped it in my Player on the way home, and I was slightly disapointed, because it wasnt as loud or thumping as the show. But... I listened to it. And listened to it, every song started to grow on me. It's now one of my favorite CDs I own, and Im proud of it. Flatline, is a great song. Pop Radio Friendly, of course, your first single always has to be. House Of Cards, is my Favorite song on the album. (better live, though). This CD as a whole, has many great songs. Made better, of course, by being put on the same album as many OTHER Great songs. You need to buy it. They sound alot like Hoobastank. For fans of Hoobastank, look into this band. They are, however, much harder than Hoobastank. MUCH HARDER. And the Guitar work is very similar (in my opinion) To Taking Back Sunday, it's picked alot, not strummed so much, yet it is somehow driving, somehow pacing. It keeps GOING and Feels GREAT to listen to. The Drumming, wonderful. Not something you hear alot in Rock Music, his style of Drumming is very Emo, and yes there is a style to Emo Drumming. I love this Album. I heard more Aphasia CDs are out there, and I want them. Please, Buy It. You Wont Regret It.

Rock-solid modern rock,

Fact: Aphasia's latest album is full of rock-solid modern rock rhythms and brash but tuneful vocal performances. Fiction: They're just another whiney cry-baby band.
