I bought this as a prop for a background on a stage because my daughter who is taking hula lessons from a professional hula dancer trained in Hawaii was going to dance for a party. She dances traditional hula - not the belly dancing stuff... anyway the hut is nice and big. It really adds a native Hawaiian flavor to the atmosphere, and the nice colored flowers add an island charm and beauty that complemented my daughter's pau skirt. It was fun to build too. My daughter made a little bed underneath it pretending like she was camping in Hawaii.

Rather than order an expensive Tiki Bar from a company we opted for this much cheaper alternative, and we made the right choice!
The hut took some time to assemble, but we did not have problems with missing parts or anything negative that previous reviewers may have experienced. We placed it on a table with a separate table fringe and colorful tablecoth....and we had a perfect Tiki Bar! The hut attaches to the table via 4 suction cups... to make things more sturdy, I used a stapple gun to the tabletop. Couldn't have been happier! |
