Used it for 10 minutes - got hotter than the dickens. Returned it for a Dewalt 505. Much better.

I've bought a lot of reconditioned products from other manufacturers before and always found them to be hard to tell from new. Not so with Bosch. My hammer drill came with a rusty chuck, dirt & scratches, and the case was all beat-up. I contacted CPO Bosch and never heard back. If you want like-new, stay away from Bosch factory reconditioned.

Bought this drill about a year ago, and have used it a few times since then. It doesn't get daily use, since I only take it out for drilling in concrete, but it has proven to be a workhorse. Just finished drilling a couple of dozen holes for Tapcons IMPERIAL 11285 "TAPCON" PHILLIPS FLAT HEAD MASONRY ANCHOR 3/16x1-3/4" to install backer board. Even though this is not one of those fancy new SDS drills (this is the one at the top of my wishlist, if you're not a professional but you're serious about masonry work have a look at this: Bosch 11255VSR BULLDOG Xtreme 1-inch SDS-plus D-Handle Rotary Hammer), with the appropriate hammer-drill compatible masonry bit Bosch HCBG02 5/32" x 6" Blue Granite Carbide Hammer Drill Bit I hardly had to apply any pressure at all and the job was done in no time (don't get regular rotary-only masonry bits, they wear out after just a few holes in my experience).
Highly recommended if your usage pattern matches mine; Bosch reconditioned tools have always looked spotless to me and performed well.

My battery drill is to slow, for my work. a fellow carpenter told me to buy a reconditioned drill from Amazon. I found this one from Bosch, which I used before. I know its merits. I was very happy with the price, so I bought one. It came in a carry case with all accessories. Also one (1) year warranty, included. Buy one, you'll be very happy.

I have used this drill many times to drill up to 5/8" holes, 12" deep in concrete and have been very pleased with performance. Prior to this purchase, I used a standard VSR drill and it can take forever. The rotary hammer function makes it take less than a minute to do the job.

I like this drill as it is well built and heavy duty for an 8 amp drill. I use it as a drill and seldom use the hammerdrill option. If you want a medium duty hammerdrill then get 3 to 4 $100 bills out and shop away. A heavy duty hammerdrill is $400 or more. This is just a nice medium duty drill with an option for light use (non-commercial) as a hammerdrill. As a drill it is nice and does the job.

This drill outperforms all of my expectations. Half inch holes three inches deep in concrete in seconds - literally.
Light weight and very easy to handle. I don't use the depth gauge - just an old timer that likes the electrical tape method. Nice touch is the chuck key storage - right were you can get at it and it does not drop the key. Light, easy of use and power to spare.

Other than the fact that this hammer drill is stamped "reconditioned", you could not tell it from new. It is smooth running and powerful. Warantee is same as new. I just received the drill and have not actually used it to drill in anything yet. Just plugged it in and verified that all features (forward, reverse, drill, hammer etc.) work smoothly and as expected. Shipment was received quickly. Would definetely buy reconditioned from CPO Bosch again.
