Great tool. I'm a professional remodeler and really like this tool. It fits where my drill wont and has plenty of power. I would buy again.

Plenty of torque, that my Hitachi could not deliver. A short piviting neck that can get just about in any area. Would I buy it again? In a minute.

By the time I unpacked I got surprises. It comes with 2 batteries and a 30 minute charger. I wondered: Never more I'll be frustrated about my driver battery is discharged!

The sound it produces is impressive. Is up to its own power. By now I never found any hex bolt up to 1/2" that I could not screw in and out.

The only complain that I have is about its clutch. I could not find a perfect setup to work with MDP or plastic. Or the screw gets too deep and damage the material or does not go all the way.

Bottom line, I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Now I have two - they are the best going.Batterys last a long time and I drill & drive screws all day

I bought this I-Drive because for one it was a Bosch (never a bad experience with Bosch) and for two it looked like the slickest driver I've ever seen and I was NOT disappointed. The driver is typical Bosch quality; strong, smooth, well built and wonderfully designed. So far I've had nothing but great results from it. The pivoting head and electronic clutch helped build my new BBQ grill perfectly in no time. The pivoting head came in very handy with some of the odd angles involved in building my grill and the clutch made sure the cheap screws didn't strip. I can see so many uses for this tool that it is dizzying. I just moved into a new home and there will be plenty of uses for this very fine tool!

I'm a service technician and always debated whether or not to use a tool like this or stick with trusty hand tools.
Pros:
-angled head makes this a truly useful tool for me. the equipment I work on makes this feature essential.
- Loads of torque, which if you're careful about not over-driving your fasteners, makes it usable versus most others
- batteries go on and on before needing charging
- variable speed control

cons:
- its big and hefty. probably needed for such a powerful and heavy-duty design, but it takes up a lot of room in the tool bag and it is more "involved" to use (swapping bits, adjusting the swivel, etc)
- this baby is so strong it will wrench itself out of your hand if you're not careful
- for drilling its less useful due to the relatively low rpm. remember smaller diameter bits require higher rpms. drilling with this is strictly on a convenience basis. If you expect top drilling performance you'll need to stick with your proven peformer. but it is nice to carry drilling capability in my tool bag.

By the way, mine is the reversible drill, not an Impact-Driver in the item description above. The picture is correct though. Overall, I'm glad I bought it and I'm being patient enough to get used to using it to its fullest. Good luck.

This is one of the many I have which includes Metabo,Black and decker,Hitachi...etc.This is a great driver comes with 2 batteries a lot of punch look no further.

For a specific purpose tool it has actually turned into an all around cordless screwdriver because of the ability to move the head into various positions. The power is sufficient for any job and the battery is long lasting. Good luck finding it in any retail stores, not sure why.
