I bought two of these and am not impressed to this point. It keeps running and one of them did not have all of the screws when it arrived and the gaskets was sticking. It looks nce but you could tell it was a recon.

I bought this reconditioned unit on April 6th and it's quit working on May 14th. I'll see if I can send it to be repaired again. Judging by the complaints of people buying the new unit, I'm glad I didn't spend too much money.

There are many similar products on the market today that accomplish the same task, but the Cuisinart Private Reserve Wine Cellar is a stylish, compact unit that fits on a counter or a table and stores eleven botles of wine at the appropriate temperature to preserve the wine.

You can store whites and reds. There is a manual or a preset temperature control with a digital readout. There is also a light that can be turned on manually to showcase your collection.

For the price and size, this unit with a three year warranty is a best buy.

I disagree with the previous ratings. I received this 2 weeks ago. Wine is exactly to my liking. The temparture is accurate and the thermostat is flexible. Looks nice, keeping in mind that it's not brand spanking new. Small internal light that can be left on to display your collection. For $60 it's a steal!

This unit arrived promptly and with no shipping charges! Don't think this is a refrigerator. It is not and, depending on the coolness of the room, I haven't seen inside temperatures lower than 54 degrees. If you need more chilling power, buy a refrigerator.
That being said, this is perfect for a small wine collection. The interior light is nice and can showcase your small collection. You can even leave the light on while the door is closed, a nice feature for those times when you have guests over and you want to impress.
My unit sometimes develops a bit of condensation inside which will turn into water. This needs to be wiped out, of course. Other than that, no minuses I can see.
Very quite because of the cooling mechanism.
Overall, a great deal for the price and with no shipping, how can you go wrong?
Look on the web and you'll see identical units (factory-reconditioned) selling for close to $100 + shipping.
