A friend told me to go with the Ridgid because of the lifetime service agreement. Turns out the reconditioned Dewalt was much cheaper then a new Ridgid and the reconditioned Ridgid carries the same warranty as Dewalt. I have now used both the Dewalt and the Ridgid, and hands down the Dewalt feels much stronger and more powerful. Side note, I left this gun in the driveway and my wife drove over it in a GMC Yukon. Works GREAT and has some cool marks that allow me to a cool story.

I bought this nailer to install fiber cement siding on an 8' x 12' shed. I was very impressed when I opened the box...looked like a new nailer to me. I just finished the siding (ran about 800 nails through the unit) and other than me not being quick enough with the bump action (a couple of x2 fires...removed with hammer), it performed awesome. I would buy again.

The roofing nail gun worked without any problems. I finished my roof with no equipment problems, which is what I wanted!

I read on another site that a guy had problems with misfire from this nailer, I had the same problem and after reading the trouble shooting charts turned my regulated air up to 120 pounds and cured the problem. Dewalt has never let me down in new or factory reconditioned products.

Just finished my 1500 sq foot house and 20 x 20 garage with this nailer.
other than any other tool needing air tool oil this tool was professional grade and other than the inspection stickers This tool looked new from the box...
great tool Dewalt you can't go wrong with the name and grade of tool.
