This hammer drill is great for those needing a heavy duty cordless drill/driver. If you are only putting in a few screws then this is overkill for you but for those who drill in a variey of materials and do lots of screw driving then this is your answer. I purchased to replace an older dewalt that I had burned up but much to my suprise dewalt repaired my old drill after 3 years under warranty!! Now I got 2 drills but it says a lot for dewalt as a company.

The Driver Gun, great battery life, great power, be sure you get the Ni-Cad not the new lithium ion, I've heard that the new gun has a little less torque
