4.0 out of 5 stars Powerful Tool and good quality
I very much like my 24v dewalt. I use it for all my heavy duty drilling for my home.

A word of advice, it is very heavy. If you want a lighter tool then go with the 14 or 18v product. They both work well. If you can handle the weight this tool is the only drill you might need.

I think it is very well made and the unit came like new, and hasn't skipped a beat.

2.0 out of 5 stars -need this much power? buy a corded
This drill is a heavy, monster of a bad idea. The 18v is really on the edge of being oversized, (I LOVE mine, best ever) but this thing is just plain uncomfortable. So much torque you need two hands, so much weight you will need two hands. TOO MUCH MONEY TO SPEND ON A DRILL THAT WORKS WELL IN SUCH A LIMITED NUMBER OF JOBS. Maybe a pro could find a couple more uses for...

Maybe a pro could find a couple more uses for this, but concrete and steel are the only uses I could figure, and for concrete, you best apt to get the dw004, of which I'm very pleased.
18v is way big enough.

This kit doesnt come with any extra batteries and when you use it constantly you will have to take a 1 hour break so that you can recharge your batterie and it has been very difficult to find extra batteries (which are about ...). I wish that I had never bought mine.

Excellent two in one tool with plenty of power for any job. It is very well balanced with good feel and its hamemer is at ease in fast penetration of brick, block, stone and concrete of most compression strengths, aggregate compositions and ages. Quick charge system as well. Only downside its price, but you get what you pay for.
