When I reach for a reciprocating saw it's usually to make one or two quick cuts, the last thing I want to do is have to look around for an unused cord (they are usually tangled or already in use). My new favorite tool is the DeWalt cordless 18 volt recip saw. I like the instant stopping feature, especially when exiting a cut. It has plenty of power and it's light. What more could you want? :-) I now have three DeWalt 18 volt cordless tools and they are the most "reached for" tools on the job.Bill Wagener/Contractor Bishop, CA
