I received my mixer today - Amazon.com has been amazing in their customer service :o)

I tested the mixer on two loaves of bread...everything works great! (I must admit I was a bit leary about a 'refurbished' product.)

I followed a recipe in the included book since I have never used a Kitchenaid before - the times listed for each stage of the mixing was exactly right- my dough looked like the book said it would after each segment.

Having just received it today, It will take a while before I get to run it through all of 'my' paces!!! But it seems as though everything is superb at this point.

I think I got the deal of the decade with this one (free shipping, and another $55 in promos and offers....hmmmm, let's see - a $429 mixer for $125 YIPPEA!!! Thanks Amazon
