5.0 out of 5 stars Ultimate waffle maker!!, October 29, 2006
This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned KitchenAid Pro Line Waffle Baker, Pearl Metallic (Kitchen)
The first try on this waffle make created beautiful waffles that I have only seen in restaurants... better than what I have had in restaurants. It took so little time to bake, a little less than 3 minutes on my machine. This unit was reconditioned. The heating elements and the griddle all are new. The power cord and the rest of the electronics seemed new as well. The only original parts seem to be the base, handles and body. All in all, I am sure this will be the only waffle maker I will ever have to buy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Reconditioned? Really?, November 15, 2006
This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned KitchenAid Pro Line Waffle Baker, Pearl Metallic (Kitchen)
Opened the box and couldn't believe this wasn't a brand new one! Only sign of it not being new was the instuction manual. Mixed up a batch of Carbon's Golden Malted batter like you get in the motel continental breakfasts and had two HUGE beautiful waffles in 3:30 minutes. Very simple controls, warm it up,set the time you want to bake waffles, add batter to one side and then the other and press start.Digital counter counts down to zero and then audio beep lets you know it's done.
This thing is built like a Cat dozer and should last forever!! Hard to beat deal Amazon has with $25.00 promotion and free shipping.

5.0 out of 5 stars Waffle-Mania, March 23, 2008
This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned KitchenAid Pro Line Waffle Baker, Pearl Metallic (Kitchen)
Leaps and bounds better, not a gimmick. Bought a refurbished model... and my wife thought I was crazy spending $200. She loves it and we have many waffle breakfasts for friends and family. Makes 2 at a time. Easy. Durable. Love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality production, January 17, 2007
This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned KitchenAid Pro Line Waffle Baker, Pearl Metallic (Kitchen)
This is especially good for making 4-5 waffles at a time. Freeze the extras and pop them in frozen to thaw and reheat as the unit warms up. I am using a combo of flours including rice and finely ground corn with others from whole foods to avoid wheat. Savory waffles with spices and carmelized onions, peppers and mushrooms can go in these. The cooking times are longer but the results are still excellent.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned KitchenAid Pro Line Waffle Baker, Pearl Metallic (Kitchen)
Wow! 3.5 minutes to 2 incredible waffles. Throw in chocolate chips, blueberries, whatever! Deep Belgian waffles. I use a mix that takes seltzer water and they come out great. So much better than my single waffle maker. My brother is so jealous he's buying one! Why buy new? This is a solid product and I expect a lot of great waffles from it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great product, January 9, 2007
This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned KitchenAid Pro Line Waffle Baker, Pearl Metallic (Kitchen)
I was nervous about purchasing a refurbished product, but the price was great, and the other reviews were good. I love the wafflemaker. I found the best waffle mix to be the waffle/pancake mix from Williams-Sonoma.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding Performance, January 9, 2007
This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned KitchenAid Pro Line Waffle Baker, Pearl Metallic (Kitchen)
Cooks waffles well every time. Clean-up is under a minute. Two waffles at a time is great! Sleek looks, wonderful performance. Recommend pouring batter onto the grill from outer edge to inner, not vice versa as recommended by the manufacturer and do not overfill. Clean-up from overfilling can be a nightmare.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent !!!, January 9, 2007
This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned KitchenAid Pro Line Waffle Baker, Pearl Metallic (Kitchen)
Although a little pricy, the product is exactly what I was searching for. Although, designers of waffle makers will never learn - develop a product that the grates can be removed for ease of cleaning!! Amazon provided fast and reliable service throughout this transaction.
