Milwaukee 18 Volt 1/2" Hammer/Drill/Driver, September 21, 2002
This review is from: Factory-Reconditioned Milwaukee 0524-84 18-Volt 1/2-Inch T-Handle Hammer Drill with 2 Batteries, Charger, and Case (Tools & Home Improvement)
What a great tool! It is a little heavy, but it is also rugged and reliable. I bought it to install a mortarless brick system on the exterior walls of our new church. It holds up to a morning of hammer drilling holes in bricks and driving screws through 3/4" furring and 5/8" gypsum sheathing into heavy gauge metal studs.
When you want to relax and build a nice 16 foot floating dock or that deck your wife has been asking for since you can't remember when, the Milwaukee 18 volt Hammer Drill makes light work of drilling deck screws into wolmanized lumber.
I have seen other comments that the batteries are hard to remove, but for the life of me I can't see what is so hard about changing this tools battery. It also has a nice feature of being able to plug the battery in from the front or rear which helps get into some tight places with this tool.
As with all Milwaukee tools, this is well designed, well built, and durable. You won't regret adding this to your tool chest.
