Milwaukee Electric Tool 0920-89 Recon 18V Cordless V18 Lithium-Ion 4-Tool Combo Kit includes a reciprocating saw, 1/2-Inch hammer drill, 6-1/2-Inch circular saw, and a work light. The 18V Sawzall Reciprocating Saw (6515-20) is equipped with a powerful 18-volt rare earth motor that easily handles all Sawzall applications. This recip saw cuts up to 60 2 by 4's on a single charge, with a 1-Inch length of stroke. The 18V 1/2-Inch hammer drill/driver (0824-9C-1) is powered by a motor that delivers 550 inches-to-pounds of torque, with a heavy duty two-speed gear box. The hammer drill/driver is fueled by a revolutionary, lightweight 18V Lithium-Ion battery, and features a 1/2-Inch metal ratcheting chuck with carbide jaws for superior gripping strength. The 18V 6-1/2-Inch Circular Saw (6310-20) is powered by a 2.4 amp-hour battery that provides 20-percent more run time than other Ni-Cad batteries, and runs at 3,200 RPM with an electric brake and great balance. The 6-1/2-Inch blade easily cuts two-times the material at 45 Degrees, and cuts more 2 by 4's per battery charge than any other cordless circular saw. The 18V work light (49-24-0165) features a 140 Degree pivoting head, a long life Xenon bulb and a spare bulb stored under the lens cap. The patented battery protection circuit prolongs the battery life, and the faceted reflector provides a bright, uniform beam. I'm hard on tools. I do not like to spend a lot on them because they tend to have a short life when working for me. My wife suggested that it had to do with the tools being cheap that was the problem. I purchased this set of tools for the price what any individual tool would have cost new and I was not disappointed. I will not buy new again. I will go with anything that Milwaukee offers as a Factory Reconditioned. They did come with some character marks already on them but I can live with those for what I saved.

Would be a great tool...if there weren't so many overlooked problems at the factory.

Cons:

1) One battery was dead and had to be replaced
2) Charger didn't work and had to be replaced
3) Isn't compatible with newest 18v "M" line

Pros:

1) In Milwaukee's defense they did replace all defective products (which is what was supposed to be done in the first place.)
2) This tool has ample power and performs amazingly.


Recommendation:

Buy it new. I'll never buy a refurbished tool again.
