Great tools but the batteries seem to fade some what quickly, espeicially the reciprocating saw. It could be that this was purchased as reconditioned pack.

I have had this kit almost two years and use it regularly in the construction trade. It works great. I love the cordless reciprocating saw. My only complaint is the longevity of the batteries. I had to replace my batteries after 15 months. Fortunately I was able to get a great deal on a two pack on Amazon. If I had purchased them at Home Depot I would have been out almost $200. I love Amazon. I also have a Rigid Cordless kit which works just as well and has a lifetime warranty which includes the batteries. I will probably buy Rigid in the future and Home Depot usually has great deals around Christmas time.

Who said a refirb isn't any good? I've had 2 of these sets for three + years of regular use. Still kickin'. Batteries die, but no faster than the other brands.
