This is a reconditioned power tool. Reconditioned generally means that the tool has been returned to the manufacturer, who brings the tool back to like new condition. For percussion carbide-bit drilling in concrete and masonry and drilling without hammering in wood or metal. Features keyless chuck, turn collar for selection hammer-drill or drill only, two-speed gear shift lever, forward/reversing switch, self-stopping brushes, heavy-duty industrial chuck. Kit comes complete with steel carrying case and 4-piece percussion carbide-tip bit set. Some tools may contain cosmetic blemishes. Same warranty as new.

This is a very impressive drill. The metal case is sold elsewhere on Amazon for a pretty hefty sum. The drill has the popular pistol grip and a nice side handle. Squeesing the trigger results in a smooth acceleration to a very speedy top speed. The hammer kit is supposed to come with carbide hammer bits, but unfortunately mine was missing them. Three weeks, several calls, and numerous emails later and I still don't have them, so I can't review the hammer function.Otherwise a very heavy-duty manageable drill. Highly recommended if you can get the complete kit.
