The 18-volt cordless Sawzall is an essential tool for: HVAC contractors, plumbers, electricians, maintenance workers and remodelers. The cordless Sawzall cuts up to 60, 2x4s on a single charge with its powerful rare earth motor and 0-2,000 SPM. A heavy-duty steel Quik-Lok blade clamp makes changing blades quickly and easily. The blades can be inserted upside down in the clamp for working in confined areas. The trigger speed control and 1-inch stroke length makes this saw easy for plunge cutting. A full pivot shoe is used for maximum strength and to support the tool against the work surface. The 18-volt hammer-drill has a 1/2-inch keyless chuck and 400 in/lbs. of torque. A trigger speed control with speeds of 0-500 RPM on low and 0-1600 on high and 0-20,800 BPM hammering action. Includes saw, hammer-drill, two batteries, charger, and contractor's bag.

I've owned this thing for at least 5 years now. I've purchased the lithium batteries for it at a cost of $150, but well worth it. I've dropped this thing in the lake at least twice... in 8 feet of water.... that's what happened to the first batteries.... and it won't stop... It is indestructible....... I use it all the time, and love it.... it's pretty heavy though, so if you aren't very strong, consider buying one and having somebody operate it for you...... I've built a shed, a 24'x24' deck, and numerous other projects with it. You can't go wrong. I also own a Millwaukee corded drill that has nearly broken my arm it is so powerful, that's how I found out about this product.

I already owned two portable, battery powered drills when I purchased this set because I wanted the cordless sawzall. Not only am I pleased with the cordless sawzall, but the cordless drill is the best one I own. It is much higher quality than the two Porter-Cable drills I own. I use the drill/hammer function frequently as I have a stone house and require a serious drill to hang anything on any of the exterior facing walls of my house. By buying the package you also get two batteries which is helpful for completing jobs by charging one battery while working with the other.
