I have had one of the older Milwaukee Sawzalls and it has served me well for about 15 years. I purchased this saw thinking it was going to be a lot smaller than it is, and thought that I would use this saw to get into small places and the older saw for big jobs. As it turns out, this saw is as long or longer than the old Sawzall when extended. I was actually glad that it was larger, because it can replace the old Sawzall, but it is not as usefull as I had hoped with the handle at 90deg. So, it will replace the old Sawzall.
The downside is that I wish it had a little longer stroke length, and for it's size a little more power. Other than that at good saw that I expect will last a long time.

Great for 2x4's.
Other than that it tends to bogg down when theres a medium load on the motor. |
