This is a reconditioned product. Reconditioned generally means that the product has been returned to the manufacturer, who brings the product back to "like new condition". Some tools may contain cosmetic blemishes. 1 year warranty.

Mosquitoes and other biting insects are attracted to humans by the carbon dioxide (CO2) we exhale. The Mosquito Magnet mimics a human by converting propane to CO2, heat and moisture with its patented catalytic conversion technology. There is no external flame involved in this process.

Attracted by the CO2, mosquitoes and other biting insects are drawn to the Mosquito Magnet. When they reach the trap, our patented CounterFlow technology vacuums them into a net where they dehydrate and die within 24 hours.

The Mosquito Magnet is silent and odorless. When properly placed in your yard, the trap begins working immediately. Noticeable results are achieved in 7 to 10 days. To greatly reduce your biting insect population allow 4-6 weeks.

Only biting insects are targeted including mosquitoes, no-see-ums, black flies and biting midges, not beneficial insects such as butterflies, bees or moths.

I have a serious mosquito problem. After 2 wks w/scent pkg my MM captured 0 mosquitos. After removal of the scent pkg, the next four wks revealed the capture of 24 mosquitos. Adding to the cost of the machine, the propane, etc, this amounted to over $20.00 per mosquito. Totally unacceptable. This proved to me that the machine is a WASTE of money. The company's after sale service matches its product's performance. They were contacted twice by email and once by regular mail. The company did not provide me with the courtesy of a reply. My only suggestion to those considering purchasing the mosquito magnet is don't waste your money like I did.
