Great heater!!!!
I was a little hesitant to try anything "reconditioned" but am very happy with this heater. It's like new. It works great in the small area (8x12) that I am heating and is also very quiet. Not to mention the low price for a Vornado heater . . . it just doesn't get any better and I have looked.

It lasted about 5 seconds
My unit arrived in August. It finally got cold here in November, so I plugged it in to try it out. I switched it on, and it was incredibly loud, and then the fan sparked and stopped. The heating element continued, but the fan doesn't work at all. I will try to start the warranty process at this point. Very disappointing.

Since my heating bills are way too high, I turned to Vornado and Amazon for my heating solutions. This 'lil product heats up my entire room, about 12x24', without any problems. Because electricity costs less than gas, I let this baby run all throughout the day. The adjustable thermostat lets you select the right temperature you desire. Don't let the factory reconditioned words fool, this still comes with a warranty and works right ouf the the box. Don't settle for cheap imatations since I've tried them all. Vornado solves your heating problems and Amazon delivers it to your door.

Well, I have purchased a Vornado Fan before and loved it so I decided to try out one of their heaters since my recent heater purchases have been disasters. I have come to the conclusion that ceramic heaters are not good for heating an entire room and they are way too loud.This Vornado is indeed quiet, however, on low heat setting I don't feel any hot air coming out-it is actually just one step above cool. On the high heat setting there is a horrible odor. I also detect a rattle from the inside of the heater even though the fan is quiet. I was expecting more from Vornado. A reconditioned product should be in like new condition. This is certainly not. Dissapointed................. |
