[book] is exceedingly simplistic and perfect for use with early elementary students. ---- Library Media Connection, November/December 2007

The clean design includes one or two vivid, well-placed photographs on each spread . . . these volumes will be of interest to young readers. ---- The Horn Book Guide, Spring 2008

My grandson was so thrilled with this book he carried it wherever he went - even to bed. The pictures and verbiage complemented each other.

My 5yr old nephew loved it but nothing in the description at the time I bought it was there ANY indication it was very "short and quick" as books go...for the money spent I could have gone to my local bookstore for better.
