From the Author
If one were to try to describe the City of New Orleans, many phrases could be used to portray it. But the most apt characterization of the city and its people might be the oft quoted phrase, "Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler!" which is French for, "Let the good times roll!"
Many unique stories that have been passed down through the years help to preserve this fun-loving depiction of the city. Some of the stories are true (or at least one version of the truth), some have a hint of the truth and some are outlandish. This collection of stories should be read with a grain of salt, or perhaps a bit of cayenne pepper! You be the judge!
