1.0 out of 5 stars It's so bad I had to write my first review, August 12, 2011
This review is from: Fade in: The Screenwriting Process (Paperback)
There is an example of his work in the back -- a full script. It's HORRIBLE. Somehow this "expert" on screenwriting doesn't know simple things like -- take out greetings. Your characters shouldn't say "hello" and "goodbye" constantly. Or use each others names CONSTANTLY.
The dialog is horrible.

Then you read on the back cover that he's only been writing screenplays for 2 years! Anyone who thinks they are an expert after only 2 years and three scripts will never be able to admit to themselves their weaknesses and actually improve as a writer. With only 3 scripts and 2 years of experience, he thinks he is so good he can "write a book on it."

Ugh. Glad I got this in the library.
