I really like this cd,

Well Amber Pacific I must say is a really good band. The only thing wrong with this cd is that there is only five songs. I saw them live and really liked their music. I later bought their cd and i've really come to enjoy it. I would almost describe them like the All American Rejects with more poetic lyrics and much more a "punk-ish" guitar. They are pretty emotional with their music (the acoustic song at the end i might add) but over all this is a great album or better yet a great preview of a nearly perfect album yet to come.

Absolutely Amazing,

What more to say about these guys other than ABSOLUTELY AMAZING? They have worked their way from nothing to what they are today, and it makes me proud. I have seen the huge amount of progress since they first started, and have followed them the whole way. If you don't have this CD yet, get it! You won't be disappointed. I can't wait to hear what the future holds for Amber Pacific!

This CD is a blend of punk, emo, and powerful pop but whatever you call it, it?s an amazing CD and a great band! Over the last year these guys have poured their hearts into the band and this CD, proud to say they are from my hometown!

Great album!!!!!,

I rank this album up there along with Finch, Taking Back Sunday and Hot Water Music.
An AWESOME album! I don't own it...YET, but I have put it in our CD player at work and played it through the whole store as a promo, and I plan on picking it up! The vocals are great in this album, and the music really shines. It's very clean, and with that being said, it puts it a bit above Taking Back Sunday and Thursday for me, because those bands are a bit muddy, and the music CAN be confusing there, which, at times, hurts my ears. The album isn't very long, that has to be my only complaint. I wish there were more songs!!!

this cd is awesome, it would be better if there were more songs, but when i talked to them at a concert on friday night and asked them about it they said it was because Dango has only been in the band 3 months they didnt have time to get more songs on there. but, they are excellent on the cd, as well as live. i recommend them to anyone who listens to yellowcard, new found golory, etc.

For fans who have worked their way backwards through the Amber Pacific discography such as myself, you will notice that this EP is a shadow of their full-length work. One of the best songs on the album (Always You) is found on their debut album "The Possibility and the Promise with slightly tighter sound and audio quality. Honestly, the rest of the tracks only justify a purchase for dedicated AP fans, which is the reason I purchased it. The only song that I recomend purchasing on this album not found elsewhere is the acoustic track "Here We Stand," which is a beautiful song that easily stands up to AP's other work whereas some of the songs, while good, feel a hint more sophomoric (songs like "Thoughts Before Me" actually mention "high school drama") than their full-length efforts. Still, all things considered, a good EP. For new fans, I reccomend the new album "Truth In Sincerity," not because it is their best album (those honors belong to "The Possibility and the Promise") but because I believe this is the best indicator of where their sound is headed. It is also worth noting here that Matt Young (vocalist for all 3 AP releases) will be departing the band for their next album, so if you like their sound but find his somewhat melodramatically emo vocals grating, they will soon be a thing of the past.

I had difficulty finding cds by this artist in stores. When I came on amazon, there were so many to choose from. I could pick new or used and a wide variety of prices. I recieved the cd later than the projected date, but it was exactly what the description had said. It was brand new and still in the wrapping and works very well.

This is why the internet destroyed music . Someone with 4000 mp3's will feel everything sounds the same . Anyhow , This is pretty melodic , lyrics are heartfelt and its enjoyable . You will sing along to these songs but with someone in the back of your head :) . Really , Its a pretty decent short cd . Ill be keeping an eye out with their next release .

It's hard to believe that they are so young. The sound is powerful and the lyrics sound great. The music is incredibly well written. I only wish there were more songs on the cd, but getting this one was definitely worth it. I can hardly wait for the next one.
