I was disappointed with Immortal Realm for several reasons. First, I haven't found any of the books in this series really intriguing. However, it seemed that throughout books 1,2, and 3 the story was getting progressively better, but then I read this 4th book and all of that build-up just fizzled. Which brings me to my second reason for disappointment. This book did not have an ending as pointed out by the previous reviewer. I kept reading the book (though I was honestly a bit bored with it) thinking that the story would eventually lead to an interesting (perhaps climactic) ending only to be left frustrated that there was no attempt at some sort of closure. I'm okay with leaving it open for the next book. A lot of stories end that way, but it like this book is simply the first-half (or third, fourth, who knows. . .) of a complete book.

Another thing that bothered me about this particular book in the series is that the action is actually a little silly. It was more comical than serious. In the 3rd book, the main character grows into a sort of brave semi-warrior faerie princess with some legitimate action/battles that elevated her (at least in my mind) from a 16 year old girl to a more mature adult who had faced some really huge challenges. I truly thought the series was picking up momentum and getting a little interesting. Then in this book, the main character's action scenes were so difficult to take seriously.

Now, remember this is a three star review, so I certainly did not think it was all bad. I definitely believe that the author has a creative imagination and lots writing talent. It was just a little boring for me. I believe that generally authors and books should be given their fair chance, so if you are even in the slightest interested in this series then at the very least go check it out from the library and see if you like it. You might love it. As far as buying it goes, I would say that if you are the type of person that loves buying and reading books, and are okay if the book turns out to be a little less than you were hoping, then buy it. I personally love purchasing and reading books, even if I do not plan on reading them again (but I know not everyone is like that). If you do not like buying books unless you are sure it will absolutely captivate you, then you should probably just check this one out from the library.

It was an okay read, but a little boring and certainly not as good as its predecessor. Will I go on to read book 5? I have never stopped reading any series until the author has stopped writing them, and I'm honestly not sure about reading book 5.

It has been awhile, 11 months, since I read the last book in The Faerie Path series. I didn't really remember much about the plot of the story, just the overall feeling that I really enjoyed them. And after reading this fourth book, I remember why.

The story just flows so easily. And I get so invested in the characters. I want to know what is going to happen with Tania and Edric. And what the fate of Connor will be. And if Tania will be able to find the cure for the plague.

I am having a hard time reviewing this book without giving anything away, so I will just say this:
The book ended at a place where it left me wanting more. I don't think it was a cliffhanger exactly, but there were so many questions left unanswered. I'm glad that I have the next book in the series, The Enchanted Quest, to read right away.

Reads like any other teenage girl drama story, only in a sqeaky-clean version of Faery worthy of a Disney movie.

The Faerie Path is a fantastic series. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy stories. The characters are enjoyable and it is an easy read. Pick up all four and be prepared to be entertained.

I have been reading these books since I was given the first one and can hardly wait for each book to come out in print. Had I known that there was to be a fifth book so soon I would have preordered immeadiately. I finished book 4 in one sitting and cannot wait until Jan. or Feb. even if this is too far off. This book didnt have as much action as the others before it. I really didnt like the ending because there was no resolution. It ended in the middle of the quest.

One word "WOW!" As proclaimed by Connor through out the story. As many of you know who have read the "The Faerie Path" Series, Tania is continually trying to save the land of Faerie from danger after danger. In this last installment, she does nothing less. When an infant child of Faerie falls sick everyone goes searching for answers. Tania is in search of the truth that is beneath the child's sickness.

I enjoyed this book it was really good. I wished it told more in it. I think she was really easy going for how they portrayed her earlier in the series. And it was a little rushed. And slow at certain points

The Immortal Realm was an ok book. It was very boring compared to the third one but I enjoyed it. The whole drama between Tania and Edric was a little ridiculous, and Tania reminded me a lot of Bella in Twilight in that sense, which is NOT a good thing. "I love you and I want to spend all of eternity with you, but I don't want to marry you." So lame and annoying. However, I did like the fact that Tania did something without Edric for once. If you're thinking about getting this book, I'd say do it because it's a great addition to Tania's story full of twists and turns and I can't wait to read the next one.

This is entire book is one big superfluous plot filler. What started out as a promising series has only progressively gotten worse. I probably could have read the first 3 chapters and the last chapter and have gleaned everything releveant to the ongoing storyline. I thought about quitting the series after the third book, but this fourth one is the book that sealed my resolve. There are better things you could be doing with your time and better books to read.
