same book, different title,
This review is from: The Faerie Path #3: The Seventh Daughter: Book Three of The Faerie Path (Paperback)
My librarian at my high school was confused when she ordered this book for me. It has TWO names. The Seventh Daughter, and The Sorcerer King. It's the same book, but different titles. It's the same book, no matter the title. Either one is the third book in the series. It confused me.

The Seventh Daughter (or The Sorcerer King) is the third book in the Faerie Path series by Frewin Jones. This time Tania and her sisters return from the mortal world to find the Faerie world in a complete mess. The Sorcerer King of Lyonesse is free and now rules the Faerie world. Not only that, but the Princesses find out their father is encased in amber. As they find the destruction, Tania and her sisters realize they have to stop the Sorcerer King or their world would be destroyed. Not only that, but their sister and Tania's former fiancée are working with the Sorcerer King as well. It picks up right after book two of the Faerie Path series, so if you haven't read that, I suggest you do. It's a pretty decent read with action and adventure continuous going on in the novel. This book is the halfway point of the series. It's also, what I call, the end of the first half or the first arc of the series. Basically, you could stop here if you wanted to and you'd be fine. However, it does raise some questions and it does make you want to read more, so I would suggest continuing with the story. They're short, so it's not like it's going to be too bad to read on. Overall, I enjoyed this book. It's a bit more intense than the first two books. A bit more action. About 3.5 stars, but I'll give it four.

*Originally published in Hardcover as THE SORCERER KINGOnce again, Frewin Jones takes you on a mystical, suspenseful ride into the land of Faerie in her third book of THE FAERIE PATH series. Returning to Faerie with her sisters and long-lost mother, Tania is shocked to find that the Sorcerer King has caused her beloved home to become a rotting and dead mess. The princesses realize that the only way they can beat him is to free their father, Oberon, from the Amber Prison. And so they embark on their perilous journey, where they will find danger, friendship, adventure, hope, and love. A stunning third book that delivers a thrilling adventure that all will fall in love with, THE SORCERER KING is slightly more serious than its predecessors, but holds all of the same charm and spirit. The third book in the Faerie Path series, The Seventh Daughter (originally called The Sorcerer King in hardcover) takes place back in the Faerie Realm, where the evil Sorcerer King has imprisoned King Oberon and threatens to destroy Faerie forever. Tania, with the help of Edric and her sisters, must find a way to free her father and vanquish the evil Sorcerer King. This book picks up right where book 2 leaves off, so you'll want to read both.
