This is a fine system. It's not going to turn your pool into a hot tub -- it is just passive solar energy after all. But it definitely helps. Disregard the negative review -- it's not for this product!

Have a FAFCO system for 5 yrs then leaks started. each time cost $150 will not replace panels even when leaking like a hose. Service is the same price as a new panel. Heads up! it's a scam...

Won't work 20 feet between remote and base. Yes, I tried new batteries even though the original checked good. Won't work from pool to picnic table in open unobstructed yard. Should have listened to other reviews. It will work with 2 or 3 feet between base and remote. Total waste of money. Won't buy anything else from Minder Research Incorporated. MRC800 is junk!
