I think this worked very well. I found that changing the position of the steaming tray handles will allow 3 different heights: one for poaching (low), one for steaming (higher) and one where the handles hang from the top of pan (good for taking it out of the poaching liquid without taking it out of the pan. Very nice steamer. Additional versatility is that you can also steam whole vegetables in there. Looks nice, too!
