The lid doesn't stay on during cooking, allowing moisture to enter from the pressure cooker when I was steaming a bread pudding. The plastic material imparted a flavor to the pudding. I threw away the silicon container and the pudding. WIsh I hadn't bought it. I have a similar Pyrex one that works great. I will stick to glass and rigid containers with lids that stay on.

You can make desserts in this but it is flimsy and water can and does get into this during the cooking process. I suggest that you look for something that is more sturdy

I purchased this for use in my 7 qt. Wolfgang Puck Electric pressure cooker. While it did fit into the cooker, it has to be the flimsiest silicone cooking product I have ever seen. The lid and the cups were especially thin. Since there is no possible way for the lid to stay snugly fit on the base, why bother to even make one??? The cups are equally thin, and do not really fit inside of the larger pan. I guess you would just set them on the rack, but that would mean exposing your dessert to moisture. The silicone base was alright, but considering the limited usability of the rest of the set, why spend so much on just a round pan?
I also purchased this set as much for the wire rack offered for the set, which I thought would be helpful for lifting other items out of the pressure cooker. The exact dimensions for this were not given, and when I got it, I thought it is very small and might useful for only this product, but not much else. For the cost, I think I would rather get regular old spring-form pans, and cover them with foil like I've always done for cheesecake. I do hear that the Wolfgang Puck dessert set works pretty well, as it really does stay shut during cooking, ensuring no moisture gets into it. The only problem is the rack with that doesn't fit the electric PC, but I hear that a silicone Turkey lifter can be used to fish it out instead of using a piece of foil...

Great product and very very useful. The easiest way to make a cheesecake in the pressure cooker .. The Lifter is wonderful and makes the whole process a breeze. Thanks Fagor.. but you should have thought of this a long time ago.. But Glad you have it NOW....works Great in the new Digital pressure cookers.

Compared to silicone baking products, the red silicone parts are surprisingly thin and flimsy. I just thought it would be sturdier for a pressure cooker. Water from steam easily invades the lid.I made flan for Mother's Day. The cooking and cleanup was easy using this kit in my Fagor pressure cooker. I would probably buy it again, but only if it cost half as much.
