Fagor 10-Inch Glass Lid

If you purchase a Fagor cooker, or really any 10 inch pot that does not have a glass lid, this is a good option. Just a lid, but it's a good one.

The pans arrived on time and in good shape, although they are not quite 10" in diameter. All pots and pans purchased in the US have an inside diameter slightly over 10 1/8". The sealing rim of the cover is only 10", thus it either precariously balances almost inside the pot or pan - if the container has a slight edge roll making it narrower inside - or it just slowly drops inside the pan or pot. It works passably for aluminum dishes if they are a bit banged up and out of round; the crooked circumference keeps the lid from falling in. As a product the lid is good, but not for American kitchenware standards. It is obvoiusly a European 25 cm standard.
Live and learn.
For use with European kitchenware I'd give it a 'five star' rating. For US products - buy it only if you are in desperate need - **.

It fits my 10 inch T-fal Frying pan perfectly.
One thing I have doubts about is the plastic knob.
It starts moving after a while so you have to screw it back in.
Apart from this I am very happy with it.

This lid is an adequate low-end glass lid. The plastic knob on top is held on by a screw, which sometimes comes loose and needs to be retightened. Unlike with better-made lids, the "ugly" back side of the plastic knob is exposed to view when looking through the screw side of the lid. The metal rim around the circumference seems properly constructed, having been folded over to avoid exposing a sharp edge.

This lid comes in a box, which means it should hold up well in shipping. But you never know. It's a nice lid.

We did have to return this because the rim didn't fit our cookware. We returned it and got Farberware's 10-inch lid, which has a smaller rim by about 1/8-3/16 inch smaller.

While I purchased this for my pressure cooker, I've found it also fits nicely on those 10 inch skillets sold in stores without lids. I've gotten more than I expected out of this purchase.

This is a very useful lid, as when I am not using the cook pan as a pressure cooker, the pan can be used as a regular cook pan, or even to store food in; and, it is during these times when this lid is quite useful.

The black plastic spacer seems to be the weak point on these lids. It was great being able to replace the lid. It's an exact replacement so if you need a new lid it fits.

It is a perfect fit. You sent it fast and with no hassle to me.
