Fagor 8.5-inch Glass Lid

I happened to purchas Fagor Multirapid Plus 10-Quart not long ago. When I bought this lid, I thought it would work on both of my 6-Quart and 10-Quart pressure cookers since it stated " Fits ALL Fagor pressure cookers" under "Features". It turned out that it did not fit the 10-Quart. The lid just dropped to the bottom of my 10-Quart pressure cooker. This is a great item to own if you have 6-Quart or less pressure cooker. If you have 10-Quart pressure cooker, you are looking at the wrong lid. It's too small for the 10-Quart, therefore it does not fit ALL Fagor pressure cookers. Other than the misleading information, it's a fairly priced and good quality product.

Bought for a Fagor 'Rapida' 4 qt model and fits perfected. Definitely better than aftermarket covers for fit and finish for just about the same price. It extends the utility of the pressure cooker nicely.

The title for the item is not very good however as some other reviewers have found out it does not 'fit all' . You have to find the measurements (9" in this case) in the description one page scroll down. I ALWAYS scrutinize the specifications on any of the items to see if it really fits or not.

This lid didn't fit even though I measured my pan multiple times to make sure. It is not the dimensions it states. It is not wide enough and off by about 1/2 ". Just enough to make it unusable.

I am very pleased with with the 9" glass lid for my pressure cooker. That way I can use the pot for other cooking when needed.

I bought this to replace the one I lost. I use it all the time on my 2.5 quart & 4 quart pots. It's great for expanding the possibilities of your pressure cooker pots. And, it's essential for the egg poacher accessory so that you can see when your eggs are done. Also, it's great for boiling pasta so that you know when it's about to boil over. As for the quality of the lid, it's top notch and not too light. Highly recommended product.

I have to rate this purchase very low because this lid is advertised to fit "all Fagor pressure cookers" but it doesn't fit the 10 quart that I have. Disappointed when I got it? Yes!!

It appears to be a good quality lid, and it fits my father's 4 quart cooker just fine (the only reason I'm not giving a rating of 1 star), but I feel I've been deceived.

If you store your leftovers in your pressure cooker, then this lid is a must have.

You should never store leftovers with the locking metal lid on. It can adversely affect the seal. Plus it's very heavy with the metal lid on. That is why this lid is necessary.

This lid is very high quality. The glass is nice and thick, the knob is textured, and the fit is perfect. Reheating leftovers or using the pressure cooker base as a "regular" pot is great with this lid.

Fits the Fagor Futuro perfectly. I am very happy with my purchase, and the price was more than right!
There is really not much one can possibly say about a glass lid, so why, oh why, Amazon, must I write 20 words?!?

Really, for the price, it doesn't make sense not to get the lid. Helpful when there's a little delay in getting dinner on the table and you are just keeping things warm on the stove, or if you want to reduce a sauce for a few minutes, keeps the splatter down. Fits perfectly, better than trying to make something else in your cabinets work to make do.
