At the Post Office in Huntersville, NC, Brad walked up to me in line and handed me this book. He told his son that the Lord told him to give the book to someone and that was me. In was a very emotional season in my life. I had Breast Cancer Surgery the month before and on the same day of the surgery, my husband passed away that evening. We had reconnected after many years, but God is still amazing. The emotional pull in Brad's story gave me courage to go just a little further. I stopped thinking on what could have been and focused on right now. Now because of the connection with Brad and so many more, we are Prayer Warriors, and walking a little closer to God. Because the one we serve has never failed, and He helps us clean up from our failures. Brad donated 10 books to the Book Club at the church I attend in Harrisburg, NC.
I have passed my book on to a Cancer Patient, because some times we think we fail when illness is upon us.... but God is a Healer, read about it in Failing Does'nt Mean You're A Failure.

Brad,

All I can say is, "Thank You"......

Thank you for blessing my life with the writings of your life story in your new book, "Failing Doesn't Mean You're a Failure".

The same Power of the Holy Spirit that allowed you to compose this book, allowed me to sit still for over 3 hours on my couch in front of my fireplace on this cold, February Sunday a read your book "cover to cover". AMAZING!!!

The only other time in my life that I have read a book in one day was when I read Josh Hamilton's story "Beyond Belief".

You touched me on every page, and each chapter uniquely paralleled my life and journey in some "special" way that ONLY GOD knows!

Keep looking UP and count on me to share your book with people everywhere I go.

Blessings and Love,

Lee

I purchased this book yesterday afternoon and finished it this morning. I could not put it down! Brad Henry has an amazing ability to share his love for Jesus! We all live through bad situations and are quick to turn to our Father for help in those times. Brad tells his story and shares how we need a relationship with our Father ALL the time. Just because we feel we may be being punished for something because we aren't getting exactly what we prayed for, doesn't mean He doesn't love us, and in fact he may have something better in store for us than what we prayed for. I'm not what you call a regular reader. In fact I think I may have a touch of ADD as I get very sleepy whenever I try to read a book. Not this one! Thank you Brad for writing this book and sharing your story!

Just about any chapter in "Failing" could be a book in itself as Brad takes the reader through some of the strangest misfortunes imaginable. Some of them are profoundly heartbreaking, others are totally hilarious (at least in retrospect ... to the reader.) It's incredible that so much adversity could attach to one individual, and yet you find yourself relating, page after page. This is an autobiography that won't take you long to read, because if you're like me you won't be able to put it down. "Unexpected Road to Success" is the subtitle ... but that's understating this amazing story by a long shot.

After reading Brad's book Failing Doesn't Mean you're a failure and how many things in his life corresponded with my own, I realize that our God only wants what is best for his "kids". We learn through trial and error as well as prayer and searching God's Word for His truths. I would encourage anyone to read this book as well as sign up for Brad's daily devotionals. I cannot tell you how much they have helped me and usually it's always something that I needed to hear that very day. Our God is always on time and Our God is Awesome!
