Climb on the bus. Travel 1500 miles South to a small, dusty, border town. Find the roadhouse, and there you'll find Jimmie Dale. This is real, no bull heartfelt country, the kind you find in unexpected memories of women you knew and lost or roads you never should have travelled. Gilmore keeps you in that reverie with an authentic voice that you can't escape. Try this album and it'll grow on you.
