The desk and chair combination make the purchase worth the investment. Both are very sturdy and have the appearance of good quality. The only complaint that I have with the product is that the surface of the desk was not described very well. The desktop has a vinyl inset of an old-world map. I was expecting a solid wood top, but the map does have an appeal to it.
