Product Description

How healthy are your eggs? If you are over the age of 35, it is almost certain that the quality of your eggs is not what it used to be. As you age, both the quality and quantity of the eggs you produce decreases, which can make your TTC journey more difficult. And, age is not the only determining factor when it comes to egg health. Poor egg quality is seen in some young women, and may be caused by stress, poor diet, exposure to environmental toxins, and hormonal imbalances. But, while there is no way to increase the number of eggs that you have, recent scientific research reveals that egg quality can be improved. OvaBoost is a unique formulation that includes key ingredients to protect egg cells from the damaging effect of free radicals and help egg cells produce the energy they need for successful conception and implantation. Myo-inositol, folic acid, and melatonin, in particular, have been shown to significantly improve egg quality in trying-to-conceive women when taken in specific doses together. In addition, myo-inositol supplementation is thought to improve insulin resistance and therefore may be helpful for women with PCOS.

Ovaboost is made up of 6 main ingredients (folic acid, vitamin E, co-Q10, myo-inositol, melatonin, and alpha-lipoic acid). Scientific evidence supports the use of each of these supplements to improve egg quality, but I would recommend finding out which specific supplements are most useful in your particular circumstances, for example:

Melatonin: studies have found melatonin to be very helpful for improving egg quality in women trying to conceive through IVF, but it may also disrupt the hormones that control normal ovulation so there is some reason to be cautious about taking melatonin if you are trying to conceive naturally. This may not be a problem for you but if you try Ovaboost and find that it changes your normal cycle, melatonin could be reason. Melatonin is also a sleep regulator and may cause drowsiness if taken during the day. One solution is just to take the supplement before bed.

Myo-Inositol: studies have found that myo-inositol can improve insulin sensitivity and restore hormonal balance and normal ovulation in women with PCOS, but there is very limited evidence that it can help if you already have normal insulin function and normal ovulation. If you have PCOS you should consider calling the company to find out the dose of myo-inositol in this supplement and then adding an extra myo-inositol supplement to make sure you are getting enough.

Coenzyme Q10: It is important to take this supplement in the right form to have the best chance of improving egg quality. Most CoQ10 in the body is in a form called ubiquinol, whereas most supplements are in the form of ubiquinone (which is much cheaper to produce but very poorly absorbed). I understand that Ovaboost contains the standard form ubiquinone.

I am 32 and have been trying to conceive for the past 2 years with no success. At first the OB/GYN thought I had PCOS so they put me on Clomid and after 3 cycles nothing happened. I also had 1 failed IUI and at that point I decided to see a RE. RE told me my FSH levels were high, I had 14.5 and recommended 2 more IUI's with injectable and if that failed IVF. That wasn't the news I wanted to hear. I shared my story with a friend and she told me her sister in-law who was not able to conceive for 10 years used Fertile Aid & Fertile CM and she was able to conceive. I on the other hand needed to lower my FSH levels to improve egg quality, so after reading reviews about OvaBoost I ordered my 1st bottle in April. I have only taken the supplements for 2 months and I just found out I am PREGNANT! Thank you Fairhaven for these wonderful natural products.

So I used ovaboost for only a month after trying to conceive for 7 months after a miscarriage. And I was only two days late and tested positive three times!!! Now let's see if this will be a successful pregnancy. Recommend this product to others

I'm 29 years old and after TTC for a year and only have one pregnancy that resulted in a miscarriage, I was finally referred to a RE. I was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. My FSH is 8.6 and Estradiol level is 30. She basically told me my only hope would be IVF . After hours of searching online, reading blogs regarding women with my same condition and age I figured I would give Ovaboost a try. $28.95 vs. $20k plus for a procedure that isn't guaranteed to work..... figured I'll start low and see what happens. I started taking Ovaboost on cycle day 8. Normally, I ovulate cycle day 10/11 but I never got a high or peak reading on my CBFM. Not sure if that was due to Ovaboost or if I was just having an anovulatory cycle. I also have a 26 day cycle and my period was delayed until day 30. So I guess Ovaboost is affecting me some way. Today is exactly a month that I have been taking them, and I got a high reading on my CBFM on cycle day 8:( so we will have to see what happens this month. Overall, the pro is it has lengthen my cycle by four days, which I've read is a good thing. Shorter cycles indicate poor egg quality. Cons..... still not pregnant. Im going to stick to it for a couple more months, then have my lab work re done to see if there are any improvements. Good luck to everyone...baby dust!

*****UPDATE 4/25/14***** Just got my BFP!!!! I can't believe it. I confirmed both hpt and blood test. Go for my second round of betas tomorrow. Changing my review to 5 stars!!!!!!!!!

My husband and I have been TTC for a little over 2 years now. He started taking Motility Boost for Men, FertilAid for Men, and Count Boost and I started taking FertilAid for Women, FertileCM, and Ovaboost as well. We began taking them on April 4th 2013. On April 20th 2013 I got my first BFP ever. We totally believe that these where a contributing factor and will use them in the future when TTC again as well as recommend them do anyone having trouble as well.
