The best feature of this coloring book is the fact that the back of the page of each picture is left blank - so you don't have to worry about markers bleeding through.
I'm an older person and color as a relaxing hobby, however, I'm sure any child who is interested in fairies would likewise greatly enjoy coloring these pictures. I only have a few minor quibbles - while nicely drawn, some of the fairies were a bit too thin looking and they seemed to have a tendency towards large feet, but that in no way takes away from the pleasure of coloring them. The pictures are fanciful, featuring the fairies with butterflies and playing among the flowers, resting by a pool or interacting with an adoreable field mouse and that sort of thing.

This Darcy May coloring book is, of course, great fun for kids. However, for adults looking for some easy relaxation it is sophisticated enough to be entertaining. The pictures are elegant, and can be used as an inspiration for other craft projects incorporating fairies. I enjoyed it, myself, and it also made a great gift for another adult hobbyist. There are 23 illustrations in all, happily each one is printed on one side only.

Bought this for my daughter as a suprise and she loved it! Beautiful and fun she said! The artwork is very detailed and lovely, great for pencil, paint or crayons! Would make a nice gift for the fairy lovers you know!
