FOP Breakin Da Rules puts Timmy Turner into a wacky adventure after his evil babysitter Vicky gets her hands on a copy of Da Rules. After touching the book, Vicky's wishes come true! This is bad news for the trio and soon they're on a mission to retrieve the book.
The game itself is done in a cell-shading and keeps most of the characters in the same cartoonish look from the show. The levels are themed from episodes so if your fan of the show you will recognize some of the settings and characters used. Overall the levels are fun and creative and will keep you entrain while you play. Unfortunately, some of the gimmicks in the levels are annoying and you may find yourself dying repeatedly. And using a lot of trail and error. Another annoying feature is that Timmy is not occupied with a type of defense item with him all the time. All levels have enemies and half the time you can't destroy them nor protect yourself from the enemies' attacks. The collecting in this game was okay but rather tedious at times when collecting enough crowns for an extra life. Collecting the Wish Stars is mandatory in order to move on in the level, considering after collecting five Timmy's Godparents can grant him a wish to help him along. The Wish Stars usually run away from you and you have to chase them. Luckily they get tired and will stop allowing you to grab them. Crimson Chin cards are an extra item to collect. (They were way to easy to find and should have been hidden a little better. But the game is for a younger crowd, so it's in some ways you saw it coming.)
Once you collect all the cards, it unlocks bonus material on the main screen. A cool feature in this game is the addition of having the voice actors play the roles of the characters in the game. It feels like your watching an episode considering the dialogue, humor, and the wackiness of the voices.
Overall I enjoyed this game a lot. Being a fan of the series itself, I enjoyed it even more because the story and levels stayed very close to the show. Sadly once you finish all 9 levels, there isn't really much to do. Meaning its a really short game. Of course you can go back and replay the levels and this time around you don't have to collect the Wish Stars.
Overall if your a fan of the series you will probably really enjoy this game. If not, you probably will not enjoy it as much as someone who is familiar with the cartoon.

I'm a big fan of most cartoon inspired video games. This game stays pretty true to the cartoon and the characters. It's not too easy or really too awful hard. I think to really enjoy it though you have to take it in sessions. I'm about a third of the way through and have played it 2 times. Kids will enjoy it but some adults, like me, will too. I got it at a great price so it totally was worth it!
