Playing this game is like you suddenly find yourself inside the cartoon! The graphics are really interesting because they look like they are drawn just as in the cartoon. It's quite seamless compared to other video games where the video games don't look like the cartoons.

There are lots of varied levels with different challenges requiring different skills...

1.0 out of 5 stars This game is a major waste
The graffics are pretty bad even considering that it's a cartoon the voices for cosmo and wanda sound like they are talking through a pillow, you can barely hear let alone understand them and game play is extreamly repatative.

I rented this from gamefly.com and I am so glad I did not shell out 40 dollars for this game.

Playing this game is like you suddenly find yourself inside the cartoon! The graphics are really interesting because they look like they are drawn just as in the cartoon. It's quite seamless compared to other video games where the video games don't look like the cartoons.

There are lots of varied levels with different challenges requiring different skills. Lots of puzzle solving, which is why I gave it some educational stars. Timmy wears lots of different costumes and "space"-suits. The variety is astounding!

Hours and hours and hours of fun. It will take days for your kids to just get through all of the levels and things the first time, but then there are other features like a Crimson Chin trading card treasure hunt that will have your kids going over every nook and cranny of the game, which greatly increasing the "replay-ability".

My boys are 6 and 12, and they both loved it. They tell me there are some spelling type puzzles so I don't if younger players will be able to solve these on their own, but it might have been done so that they could.

The only con I could see is that Wanda and Cosmo's dialog does get to be a bit repetitive and annoying if you are running around the same level for a long time.

Have fun!

[P.S. The game saves just fine.]

My 41/2 year old son and I were hooked on this game!! It took almost a month but we beat the entire game! I loved the graphics, while my son loved the action! He is also a fan of TMNT so I was happy that this game was not violent, while still giving him the "fighting the bad guys" feeling. Our friends have not borrowed this game from us and are also having a great time! BTW..the save feature is not difficult as I read in a previous review...reading the manual really does help alot!

2.0 out of 5 stars A Disappointment, February 20, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Fairly Odd Parents: Breakin' Da Rules (Video Game)
My son asked for this game because he likes the TV program. He was disappointed after playing it for a few minutes. It didn't compare well to Tak and the Power of JuJu, which he already had. He found it apparently isn't possible to save a game while exiting, although there is a menu item for loading a saved game. The little "user manual" wasn't any help. We wouldn't have bought it if we'd known what we do now.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Rule-Braker, January 2, 2011
A Kid's Review
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Fairly Odd Parents: Breakin' Da Rules (Video Game)
This game is great for any fan of this show. I know I probably purchased it like 4 years late, since the GameCube was discontinued in 2007. If you're wondering how I purchased this game for my Wii, here are steps for buying GameCube games to play on your Wii. 1: First, buy a GameCube controller. 2: Next, buy a GameCube memory card. 3: Then, once you bought all the requirements, buy this video game. 4: Then, once all the stuff is delivered to your home, remove the cover on top of the Wii and insert a GameCube controller, a Memory Card, and your newly-purchased video game. Then, last step: Enjoy the video game. Here are the statistics:
Graphics: One of the best art styles I've ever seen, even today it could top out from the rest of the video games, because the cel-shaded graphics make you feel like you're watching a cartoon. 9.75/10
Story: A great storyline that does the series proud. 9.5/10
Gameplay: It's fun to collect all 5 Wish Stars to make a wish, but I should also point out that they often try to run away from you, which makes it challenging, but not frustrating. 9/10
Artificial Intelligence (AI): Often pretty stupid, since I noticed that they smile when they're talking about bad news. 5.75/10
Playability: I wouldn't recommend this to non-fans, but fans should get a kick of it. However, it would have been nice to include multiplayer. 9/10

4.0 out of 5 stars Fairly Odd Parents: Breakin' Da Rules, December 18, 2003
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Fairly Odd Parents: Breakin' Da Rules (Video Game)
This is David talking. Fairly Odd Parents:Breakin'Da rules is awesome. Here are some cheats you can use(They work):

1)You can unlock the movie by finding the 4 crimson chin cards. To find them you have to get on a level called A Badge to Far.
One is in a deserted cavern. Another one is on a bridge. AJ gives you one after you help him find his test. There's also one on a bridge. Finally there's one behind a hill.Enjoy the movie.

Thats all I have. Bye
