5.0 out of 5 stars Fairly Odd Parents
This movie is awesome! Although The Fairly Odd Parents is a children's show, it has plenty of adult humour (think Ren and Stimpy or Spongebob). My friend and I started watching this and laughed for an hour and a half straight. Timmy and his godparents visit spoofs of TV shows such as SpeedRacer, The Simpsons, Batman, and Charlie Brown's Christmas Special. A definite must...

1.0 out of 5 stars bad action and storyline
this follows the same quality of KND which means these kind of drawings weren't made for action sequences. Plus the storyline is completley stupid. The voice actiong is horrible and the action is stipid. Come on Butch, if yoou want to make an action cartoon, at least use comic book drawings that look real instead of unreal cartoons. If you want an action cartton, go buy a...

5.0 out of 5 stars Too Funny!!!, July 27, 2004

This thing is a scream!!! I had so much fun watching this on tv waiting to see which classic cartoon show they would spoof next! Flintstones, Speed Racer, Scooby Doo to name just a few. Most of the send ups are dead on and there are too many of them to list. This is brilliantly done and it's very VERY funny!!!
Thanks to magic TV remotes Timmy and his baby sitter do battle in cartoon TV land moving from one classic cartoon show to another, but the plot is less important than the spoofs themselves. The writers and animators really do an amazing job capturing the look and feel of all these well known shows, and poke a little fun at them too!

Kids will definitely enjoy this...but parents, especially those who remember all the television cartoons of their childhood, will especially enjoy this episode.

In the tv movie "Channel Chasers," Timmy wishes for a magic remote control, allowing him to go to all the t.v. shows he wishes in hopes Trixie will see him. This is just the Estimate for this episode, but it will suposedly have other tv characters in it such as SpongeBob and Danny Phantom. The bonus episodes will be "Space Wars" "Spaced Out" and "Hex Games"

My children loved this movie, as did my husband and I. My husband and I might have enjoyed it even a bit more because we understood all the parodies. "Chucky Black and the Great Menorrah" was a hoot. If you love the "Fairly Odd Parents", you'll love this movie!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Special, Not As Good as Abra-Catastrophe, March 29, 2009
This review is from: The Fairly Odd Parents - Channel Chasers (DVD)
1st thing you notice is that there are alot of parodies in this special. They include: Dragonball (Maho Mushi), Gundam (part of Maho Mushi), Jetsons (Futurellies), Rugrats (Carpet Critters), Fat Albert (Habby Hal), Johnny Quest(Johnny Hunt), Peanuts (Walnuts),Charlie Brown (Chucky Black), Seasame Street (unnamed) , Speed Racer (unnamed), Rodoulph the Red Nosed Reindeer (unnamed), TMNT (Agily Mutated Karate Cows), and most shocking Clint's Hints (Blue's Clues). Also the adult Timmy falls into channel 85 on a Candy Land-ish looking show. I wish I had one of those remotes. I'm glad I watched it today. I recomend this movie.

It was so funny Timmy goes into Charlie Brown, the flinstones, the jetsons, a christmas special, scooby doo, and more. I really liked it when Timmy was in the flinstones.
For all fairly odd parents fans this is the best movie yet.
