This book takes you on an adventure with a frolic of fairies who are vibrant, strong, fun loving beings. The frolic, in the company of Olivia, a ten year old girl who befriends them, traverse the universe to the land where rainbows are born and beyond. They battle with army ants and Bora, the angry wind who would destroy them, in an attempt to save the world from disaster. Olivia comes up against many dangers and jealousy from a resentful fairy, but proves her courage and maintains respect.

About the Author
Lorna was born in the country and has a great respect for wildlife and conservation. This is her third book and as with her first two you are transported into an imaginative colourful world of fun and adventure. Her closeness to nature is a magical tool which she uses to fill her stories with believable narration.

The Fairy in the Potting Shed.,

A fast moving tale of a ten year old girl, and a group of fairies, racing against time to save the planet from pollution.
This is a "green" story which delivers its message to children without being sanctimonious. It should catch the imagination of 4-10 year olds, teaching them that doing good can be fun and exciting, and that more is accomplished by teamwork than by the sum of individual efforts. Their dangerous quest is described without gratuitous violence. The book has charming color illustrations by Teresa Robertson. I look forward to a sequel from Lorna Uglow, hopefully before my grandchildren grow up! Peter T. Walling. Bartonville, Texas.
