Serenity is 18 months old now and has started to hide & drag her toys in every small space she can find, and I figured she would love a play tent. I like this one because it was so cute and based on the reviews, everyone seemed to like it. It's small, but Serenity still has lots of room to play around. She can stand up without her head touching the top too.
The poles that hold the tent up are okay; they haven't collapsed (yet!). The mini flagpoles are cute, but they don't stand up straight. They make the points at the top of the castle fold over, so I've just picked them up. The tent also comes with a pair of purple detachable wings that can be worn; it's not mentioned in the tent description. They are cute too, but I've picked them up so Serenity doesn't bend or mess them up. They would be perfect to wear with a fairy tutu costume. The top of the tent is a mesh see through fabric. Nice feature. Serenity laughs and laughs when I peek over the top and say "BOO"! Serenity is learning how to close the Velcro flaps, so I gave this tent three stars for educational value. It's not a big tent, which I like since Serenity's room is already full with every toy imaginable (at least, that's what it feels like when I clean it up!). No room to put anything TOO big! So for me, a small tent was a big plus!

My daughter who just turned 3 loves this little tent. It is small and just fits her and a few toys inside but she seems to like the cosy feel. It fits easily in her room and so we leave it up all the time. Unfortunately, the materials are really cheap. Her brother already bent one of the plastic poles. It was inexpensive but we also have a Play Hut tent that wasn't too much more and seems indestructable.

My kids loved playing in this tent. I liked it better than the fold up princess tent we had already because it stayed together and did not keep falling down, but after only 2 weeks of playing with it the plastic frame broke. Since it is plastic there is not much I can do to fix it. I would think it would be able to handle kids playing around, but it was only 14.99 so you get what you pay for.

Although it was fun in the meantime (and still afterwards), the plastic support did break right away. This weekend, I replaced it with a playhut one I found at a garage sale!

This tent is fun. my one year old fell against it many times without breaking it, however our cat jumped on top of it and snapped a rod. i have it splinted now and it is working just fine. there is no bottom to this tent but that is fine with us, i have pillows and a blanket in it for her and am able to take them out and wash as needed. Overall a great purchase

I bought this for my 3 year old daughter, but her 10 month old sister loves to play in it as well. The tent is big enough to hold both of them, and light weight enough to move where ever we want to. Very easy to put together and it seems pretty durable. If it can take my youngest pulling on it and still stand, then it's durable.

We got this for our daughter, she just turned 2. She's the perfect size for it, any older (bigger) and she'd outgrow it quickly. A very easy assembly. Flags don't stad up like in photo, but no biggie! She loves to play in her castle!

. . . made with blankets, chairs, & zip ties. You don't have to take it down & put it back up again repeatedly like the homemade tent, and takes up less space, too! 34" X 34" floor space & about 35" tall not incl. the flags is a good compact size for a small space. Fairly easy to assemble & dissassemble. As far as durability, well, don't let big brother walk, climb, jump on it, etc. like a bull in a China shop! The flags do stand most of the way up if you make sure they're inserted all the way. They go in a few inches beyond the triangular inserts partially down into the main body of the tent. And the roof is fully ventilated, but there is no floor -- the floor of the tent is the carpet or whatever the floor/ground cover is where you set the tent. I do wish it had its own floor, but overall, a good buy. Definitely recommended if you're currently making the homemade tent all the time. My daughter's 2 1/2 and about 36" tall. It's perfect for her. She loves it, and immediately figured out how to velcro the flaps shut by herself while she's inside.

My daughter loved this - until she broke it the second day she played with it. It is very cute and a great idea, but not well made at all. The assembly was easy, but the rods that hold it together snapped shortly after she started playing with it and it is no longer usable. Great idea, but ended up being a total waste of money.

Its so cutee! I got it for my daughter shes only a year but its just right for her. she likes to crawl in and look and play peek a boo with me. and i can get in it to but then im really small. the flags in the front stand up but in the back they flop over but i dont care. set up is to easy. its plastic poles holding it up not 100% sturdy but i dont think its gonna mess up unless a boy crushes it or something werid.!!! So I say cute and good buy! i got it for 17.00
