I was introduced to this book by a friend in England. Being an illustrator, I was inspired by the delightful, fanciful drawings that fill the pages. To be honest, I have yet to read the book (!) but the illustrations are plenty to make me want to see more of Sally Gardner's work. Each character has a story of his or her own, it seems, and I get lost in the imaginative pages each time I look through it.
Anyone who likes fairies will love this book!
