Fairy Tail Vol. 11 pretty much covers the Magic Council's decision to launch the Etherion and the battles between Jellal's minions and the members of Fairy Tail. Personally, I liked this volume in particular because it takes care of the majority of the battles that lead up to the end of this story arc (which is concluded in volume 12). Whenever there are multiple battles taking place at the same time, some manga stretch them out over several volumes or they turn out like this volume where they're all (or mostly) finished in one volume.

Another thing I want to mention is that there is a slight change in one page of chapter 91. This page shows Erza reequip into her Purgatory Armor, but that illustration in this volume is different than the illustration that was printed in Weekly Shonen Magazine (the Japanese magazine that publishes Fairy Tail) back in 2008. Its not too different; in the WSM version, Erza is facing forward and in the volume version, Erza is facing to the side. Also, at the bottom of the same page there is a panel with a woman's foot in it moving in one direction in the WSM version and the opposite direction in the volume version (no idea why it was flipped). I would upload images of both to show the comparison, but I'd be violating the General Customer Image Guidelines by sharing "Images to which you do not own the intellectual property rights". If you want to see for yourself, get a copy of this volume and then go find chapter 91 on one of those manga sharing sites (they use the pages from the magazines). I find it interesting that nowhere in the volume does it say that there was a reason for the changes.

If you have read the tenth book and liked it then you really need to get this one.
It was a good story but it doesn't end until the twelfth.
