How can you NOT like this game?,

First off, I purchased this game when it was 39.99 and even though a month later it went to 19.99 I was not annoyed because I felt it was well worth the money I spent.
Yes, it is frustrating at times (mostly due to timing/jumping etc.) However, the fact that 9 people, between the ages of 13 and 38, who I've personally played this game with (and who have LOVED this game) seem to prove the frustrations don't overpower the fun. There are 3 different difficulties. 4 different characters (rumored to be more in development: [...] ) 1-4 players offline (same console) 1-4 players online (xbox Live) Over 150 weapons you can find. It also has an arena mode that allows for just beating eachother up for a few minutes, not exactly a big selling point, but it's an added option. Mostly what makes the game difficult is the view and as I already stated, the timing. Every boss requires you to memorize the sort of pattern they use with their attacks. Once you realize how it works it is very easy to defeat the boss. I don't see how that is any different than some games from the late 80s and early 90s, and I don't see people giving the original mega man series one star ratings... in fact, quite the opposite. Overall, it is a very quirky and fun hack'n'slash/slice'n'dice game. It is not a game for someone looking for super-easy achievements or absolutely no challenge whatsoever. If you often find yourself in the situation I often found myself in where you have friends over but only have rock band or hasbro family game night to entertain 4 players with, then this game could quite possibly be the perfect solution for you. The Mature rating is mostly only for animated blood (that you can slip/slide through in an almost graceful, ice-skating-like fashion) and also for violence. The usual screaming and cursing associated with blood and gore is not in this game and has been replaced with the often humorous squeaks not unlike those that can be found coming from a dog-toy. And honestly, where else can you beat a gingerbread cookie to death with a stick of marshmallows? ... Or how about pummeling a lumberjack with a beaver-shaped mailbox? ... Or chopping a gnome in two with a giant pair of very-sharp scissors? Seriously. This game is an absolute steal at [...].

Fairytale Fights Review,
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Fairytale Fights (Video Game)
Fairytale Fights is great fun, if you know what you are getting into. I knew, and I am enjoying it to it's fullest potential. Let me break it down into.......
Pro's and Con's ~Good storyline ~Repetitive area's (at times) ~Great graphics ~A little too much fighting ~Good sound effects ~Annoying camera ~Easy to learn controls Summary: Fairytale Fights is a great game with an amusing story line, amazing graphics, and high quality sound effects. There is good music playing lightly in the background throughout the game, and has online and offline multiplayer features. Although the camera can get annoying, and repetitive fighting is prevalent, this is still a great, fun, amusing title.

It's an amusing little game for the price. I don't think I would spend over $20 for it though.
The graphics and music are great, and anyone who enjoys off beat or dark humor will find the whole concept entertaining. Tons of weapons and different ways to kill the fairytale land people will keep you amused for a while, but eventually it will get boring. The one thing I disliked about this game was the camera angle; you nearly always have this zoomed out appearance, which is unfortunate since the graphics are so detailed and alive with color. The camera also switches angles as you move, which is very irritating. It's rated "M"... but it's more or less cartoon violence, with a lot of animated blood. 2115|R16KSF28CBVSNN;2115|R120YW2KCFZK3D;2115|R139I729C61VNB;
