About the Author

As an artist, Amber has enjoyed sharing her unique creativity and working with others to bring more beauty into the world. A desire for adventure and love of nature brought her to Alaska in 1989, where she has lived out many of her childhood dreams. She has gone hiking on glaciers, climbed mountains, prospected for gold, raised wolf pups, fished with eagles, and has been chased by bears. Her most challenging and rewarding role however, has been that of being a mother. She says, “Children don’t come with instruction manuals. Sometimes you just have to make it up as you go along, and have lots of love and faith”. Through joy, heartache, laughter and tears, Amber discovered a passion for helping and encouraging others to enjoy the journey we call life. Her mission in life is to bring a message of hope…that we are not alone in our struggles. Amber has been a member of the Palmer Pentecostal Church for the past 11 years. She has also taught home bible studies for adults and children. She lives in Palmer, Alaska, with her youngest son Christian. I could not put this book down. I could actually feel the fear, pain, suffering, and yes, hope, of Christian's parents. My heart went out to them. What a miraculeous recovery! Christian is such a strong, healthy, normal little boy now. His experience needed to be told. His Mom did a fabulous job in writing it. The pictures, during and after his recovery, which she used, helped to clarify what he went through. It is an amazing story that everyone should read.

I personally know this family and was called to pray when Christian was already in the hospital clinging to life. At that time, I had to hold to my faith, but doubt entered my heart when I heard how bad he was hurt.
But, each day that went by, Christian remarkably improved... and without a shadow of doubt, the Lord had his hand on this family and was about to show everyone a miracle!
Amber & Jim experienced what every single parent NEVER wants to go through...losing a child. Amber had been down this road before.
Christian died....but God wasn't through with him yet!
The stories that Christian told his mom about Heaven give us all hope because....there's another life to come following this earthly one.
Amber's story will make you cry and smile as it renews your faith in an easy read.
Every time I see Sis Amber and Christian in church, I'm reminded that God is STILL IN CONTROL~

This awesome and true story eloquently provides proof that God still performs and provides miracles in our time. Miracles require a firm Belief in God, our Creator; in His love; an exercise of Faith (that a miracle can happen); earnest, continuous and multiple Prayers, and Hope that God, in His awesome love and power, can and will provide Miracles.

Belief-Love-Faith-Prayer-Hope----MIRACLES!

Amber Leggette-Aldrich, (with her gift of superb authorship from God), is the gracious, fluent, flowing, experiential and narrative author of this wondrous story. She is also the loving, prayerful, strong, supportive, believing and hopeful Mother of the young, handsome and loving boy, named "Christian", who is the subject of this story of his amazing journey. Moreover, the Father of Christian, the extended family and friends, all exemplified comparable attributes.

As you read this marvelous story, you will be so blessed and will feel the emotional experiences of life-accident-death-miracle--->life. Praise our Heavenly Father in Heaven!

Delightful, awe-inspiring, miraculous journey of one boy and his family. Gut-wrenching terror turns into a beautiful story of redemption, 2nd chances, and miracles in this journal of death-to-life healing and glorious victory. WOW! Highly recommended to stir your faith and encourage you that God is real, He's alive, and He worked a precious miracle in this Alaskan family. You should read it today!
